  3. When you contact us by email or using a contact form, we store the data you share (your email address, potentially your name and phone number) in order to respond to your query. We erase the data arising in this context once their retention is no longer necessary, or we restrict the processing thereof in the event that statutory retention periods apply.
  4. In the event that we rely on commissioned service providers for individual features that form part of our content or we wish to use your data for promotional purposes, detailed information about the respective procedures will be provided below. The defined criteria for storage periods are also specified.

Section 2: Collection of personal data from visits to our website

If our website is solely used for informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise share information with us, we only collect the personal data communicated to our servers by your browser. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which we require from a technical standpoint, in order to display our website to you and guarantee its stability and security (the first sentence of Article 6(1f) GDPR provides the legal basis for our doing so):

Section 4: Use of Google Analytics

  1. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies: text files stored on your computer that facilitate analysis of your use of the website. The information created by the cookie concerning your use of this website is typically transferred to a Google server located in the USA and stored at that location. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transferred to a Google server located in the USA and shortened at that location in exceptional circumstances.
