The results of the Statista Global Consumer Survey Content Special \u201cFood & Nutrition\u201d from 2021<\/a> and another Statista Survey from 2022<\/a> clearly illustrate the continuing trend towards a sugar-conscious diet: 42 per cent of survey participants generally want to take a sugar-conscious approach to their diets, while 56 per cent of consumers pay close attention to sugar content when buying processed foods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
